- Select "Internet Options" from the "Tools" menu
- In the "Internet Options" dialog box select the "Security" tab
- Click the "Custom level" button at the bottom. The "Security settings" dialog box will pop up
- Under the "Scripting" category enable "Active Scripting", "Allow paste option via script" (if available) and "Scripting of Java applets"
- Click OK twice to close out
- Click Refresh or press F5
Internet Explorer 5.0x for Mac
- Select "Preferences" from the "Explorer" menu
- Click the arrow next to Web Browser
- Click "Web Content"
- Under "Active Content" check "Enable Scripting"
- Click OK
- Click Refresh
Firefox 1.x+
- Select "Options..." from the "Tools" menu
- Select the "Content" tab
- Check "Enable JavaScript"
- Click OK
- Click Reload or press F5
Safari 1.x+ for Mac
- Select "Preferences" from the "Safari" menu
- Select the "Security" tab
- Check both "Enable Java" and "Enable JavaScript"
- Close the Preferences window
- Click Reload
Netscape 7.x
- Select "Preferences" from the "Edit" menu
- Click the arrow next to "Advanced"
- Click "Scripts & Plugins"
- Check "Navigator" beneath "Enable Javascript for"
- Click OK
- Click Reload
AOL 9.0
- Select "Internet Properties" from the "Settings" menu
- Select the "Security" tab
- Click the "Custom Level" button
- Under the "Scripting" category enable "Active Scripting" and "Scripting of Java applets"
- Click OK
- Click Refresh
AOL 6.0 - 8.0
- Select "Preferences" from the "Settings" menu
- Click "Internet Properties (WWW)"
- Select the "Security" tab
- Click the "Custom Level" button
